Hanwen joined the lab as PhD student in mechanical engineering in Fall 2024. He holds a M.Eng degree from UC-Berkeley and a BS degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) – Joint Institute with UMich, both in mechanical engineering. His research interest is in the intersection of model-based control and machine learning for complex robots.
